For the last several years FV Martin has been hauling round trip loads for Roseburg out of Weed Ca. Roseburg recently put on a new transportation management team. This team has put all Roseburg hauls up for bid and we did not win the bid.
The week of May 26th we will be done with this haul.
Do not panic if this has been your job. We will replace that work with other stuff. Some Hwy trucks will become log trucks. If you are interested in hauling logs to keep a local job, see your dispatcher.
Roseburg has been known to increase or decrease this haul a lot over the last ten years. Who knows, maybe they will see how good they had it and hire us back. If this is your job see George about hauling local day or nights. We need help on that side as well.
The management is sorry we did not get this, but we gave our best rate and it wasn’t good enough.
