We Will Be Closed for the 4th of July

We want to let everyone know that F.V. Martin Trucking Co. will be closed on Friday, July 4th. This includes all trucks, the office, and the shop.

We encourage everyone to take the day to spend with family and friends, enjoy some well-deserved rest, and reflect on what this holiday really means.

A Little History and Perspective

The Fourth of July isn’t just fireworks and barbecues. It marks the day in 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from Great Britain. The signers of the Declaration took a huge risk by saying they believed people had the right to govern themselves.

It was a stand for freedom, self-government, and personal responsibility.

It’s worth remembering that the independence we celebrate wasn’t handed over easily. It was fought for—and it’s something that needs to be protected and respected.

We’re proud to be a local, family-run business in a country where we have the freedom to work hard, build something of our own, and provide good jobs.

Enjoy the holiday, stay safe, and we’ll see everyone after the holiday read to roll.
