4th of July

The 4th of July is a time to celebrate with family, friends, and fireworks, but safety should always come first!

When handling fireworks, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and never light them indoors or near dry grass. Keep a bucket of water or a fire extinguisher nearby, and make sure to light fireworks away from crowds and flammable objects. Never attempt to relight a dud firework—wait 20 minutes, then soak it in water before disposal.

For grilling, ensure the grill is in a well-ventilated area, away from structures or overhanging branches. Also, keep children and pets away from fireworks and the grill to prevent accidents.

If you’re near water, always wear a life jacket and swim in designated areas. Don’t forget to stay hydrated, especially if you’re spending time outdoors in the heat.

Please enjoy a safe and memorable holiday with your loved ones this weekend.
