We recently ran our first-ever employee survey, and with a little nudging, we got a lot of great responses. Most of the feedback was solid and helpful, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to participate.
I do want to call out one comment that stood out. An employee said they’ve been here five years and this was the first time we asked for their opinion. Honestly, I don’t get that.
Just about every few months, I write a blog or newsletter asking for input — how we can improve things, what you’d like to see changed, or how we can make your job better. You can always come talk to us, drop a note in the paperwork box, or email us. We don’t know what to fix if we don’t know what’s wrong.
Another helpful point from the survey: some of you weren’t sure what positions we’re hiring for. That’s good feedback, and we’ll work on doing a better job keeping that information in front of you.
The bottom line is this: let’s keep working together to make the Martin Companies one of the best places to work in Southern Oregon. We’re listening — and we’re always trying to improve.
