Hey Log Truck Drivers,
Just a quick heads up — Boise Log Yard will be shut down Friday the 14th, and again starting Friday the 21st through Thanksgiving week. That means things will be very slow, especially on those Fridays and the whole holiday week.
We’re still checking on other mills’ plans, but most haven’t posted their schedules yet. Still, it’s safe to say that that week will be quiet across the board.
This could be a good time to use your unemployment waiting week, especially since, like always, mills usually shut down for Christmas and New Year’s too.
We’ll keep you posted as we learn more, but for now, plan ahead and stay in touch with Ryan if you have questions.
