On Saturday April 25-26, the annual Oregon Cheese Festival is taking place. This year, the Oregon Cheese Festival and Spring Marketplace will be located at the Jackson County Expo, specifically at the Seven Feathers Event Center, 1 Peninger Road, Central Point. The festival moved to the Expo in 2024 to accommodate its growth and is no longer held at the Rogue Creamery.
The two day tasting event will feature a wide variety of artisan cheeses from Oregon and beyond, including Rogue Creamery, Tillamook, Face Rock Creamery and Rivers Edge Goat Dairy, alongside specialty food producers offering items like honey, chocolate, olive oil, and baked goods. Nearly 100 vendors are expected, with wine, beer, cider and spirits available as add-on tastings.
Saturday’s festival runs from noon to 5pm and is limited to attendees 12 and older, while Sunday’s 11am to 4pm and the event is open to all ages. Advance tickets are $25 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at oregoncheesefetival.com.
