School will be getting out soon, and that means we’ll start seeing a lot more kids outside during the day.
Please keep an eye out for:
- Kids riding bikes
- Children playing near roads
- More foot traffic in neighborhoods
- Extra traffic around parks, ball fields, and summer activities
Remember, kids are unpredictable. They may not always look before crossing a road or realize how fast a truck is coming.
Please slow down in neighborhoods, watch school zones and parks, and stay alert when backing or turning. A few extra seconds of caution can prevent a tragedy.
