Fluids!! Please check your engine fluids at the beginning of every shift. Typically, you do not need to add engine oil until it is a gallon low, and in the world of truck engine dipsticks, 1-inch equals 1 gallon. Please stop by the shop if you need engine fluids so they can charge the proper amount to the proper truck. All log trucks and over the road trucks should carry an extra gallon of oil and an extra gallon of coolant. There is no need for a local truck to carry extra fluids when it is in the yard every day. If you use any of your extra fluids please remember to stop by the shop to get your container refilled.
