As I drove to the office this morning, the fog was as thick as I can remember it. As I’m driving down Highway-62 I think to myself that I hope everyone has their headlights on when they are driving. There would be no way for me to see they are coming until I got to them if they don’t have any lights on.
So this is my reminder to you. Please make sure you are checking your lights when you do your pre and post trip inspections. Marker lights, tail lights, head lights, and your turn signals all need to be in working order, especially with the fog and low visibility that winter brings.
Use caution when driving in fog. Not everyone checks their lights like they should, nor do they turn them all on the time.
