I would like to express the company policy on tire chains. Here at FV Martin, the shop or management is NOT responsible for “checking” your tire chains. You are the professional driver and should check and maintain your tire chains. IF you need repairs to a chain, please put them on the cat-walk of your truck and write up a daily vehicle inspection report (DVIR) stating, “Please REPAIR tire chain.” Specifics and details on a post trip are very valuable to the shop personnel.
