I want to thank the 25 employees who fought the weather Saturday. They brought 37 guests with them. So, we had a total of 62 people show up for a picnic in the park in the midst of a snow storm and 41 degrees.
That is an awesome tribute to our founder. Floyd would have been proud. I could not be prouder of the group of people I get to lead.
A lot of people say the weather was a bad thing. I look at the bright side. Everyone gathered under cover near rented heaters and communicated as opposed to spread out and not socializing. To me it was fun.
Next year maybe we will push it in to June or July.
