Ryan and I just got out of a meeting with KPD insurance rep, Ben Melvin who sells us our Workers Comp Insurance S.A.I.F.
For the first time in years, he had good news. Our cost for next year has gone down a little. Normally, they go up every year.
This is a direct result of the entire crew working safely. Less claims really makes a difference. Hopefully this will help cover the increase we are going to have on truck insurance due to totaling 79 and 62 earlier in the year. We will find out towards the end of October when we get those renewal rates.
