To all of our valued log truck drivers: please make every effort to follow the directions provided with your job tickets. We do our best to pass along the specific haul route given by the logger or landowner. In many cases, these jobs are permitted for a particular route — and that’s the only way they’re legally allowed to travel.
If you take a different road, even if it seems faster or easier, you may unintentionally be operating on an unpermitted route. That puts the responsibility back on us and can cause serious permit violations or tax issues. So, unless there’s an emergency, stay on the route as written.
If you do follow the directions and end up lost or the haul road appears to have changed, let Ryan know immediately. Things happen — but we can’t fix what we don’t know about.
Please remember: these directions aren’t just for convenience. They’re part of keeping us compliant with haul permits, taxes, and legal requirements. Help us stay covered by doing your part.
Thanks again for your attention to detail and all your hard work. Stay safe out there.
