There have been many times that we have been contacted by customers regarding product that did or didn’t make it onto one of our trucks. We as a company need to do a better job at confirming the product being put on our trailers with the product listed on the Bill of Ladings. Along with confirming commodity and quantity, the delivery location needs to be checked as well. Way too many times have we delivered loads to the wrong place. Confirm with your dispatcher where you are delivering and LOOK AT YOUR BILL OF LADINGS. It is also the responsibility of the driver to get receivers signatures on ALL copies of the Bill of Lading and return copies with your daily paperwork. If there is discrepancies, let your dispatcher know right away. This is the easiest way to keep our customers happy.
