Occasionally we see evidence of a truck dragging a set of trailer tires in the yard or even down Merry Lane. This is a sign that the driver did not wait for the trailer air system to air up and completely release the brakes. This causes excessive and premature wear to the tires and brakes. Please wait until the trailer system is completely aired up and there is 110-120 psi in the air system. It also helps to rock your vehicle forwards and backwards prior to moving to assure the brakes are released.
