Easy Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients:
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: nuts or sprinkles for topping
Instructions:
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Melt Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat over low-medium heat, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
- Add Vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour and Set: Pour the mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly. If desired, sprinkle nuts or sprinkles on top.
- Chill: Refrigerate for about 2-3 hours or until firm.
- Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
Note:
For different flavors I like to swap ½ cup to 1 cup of chocolate chips for and equal amount of either peanut butter chips or Andes mint chips.
