Hey Log Truck Drivers,
Just a quick heads-up about upcoming downtime for Boise Cascade. Boise will be closed Friday the 14th, and also closed from Friday the 21st through the entire week of Thanksgiving.
We’re still waiting to hear the official schedules from the other mills, but nothing has been posted yet. It’s safe to say that the week of Thanksgiving will be very slow, and the Fridays when Boise is closed will likely be quiet too.
This could be a great time to take your waiting week for unemployment, especially since mills usually close down again for Christmas and New Year’s, just like they do every year.
Also—Murphy Veneer will be down the week of Thanksgiving as well, but open on those Fridays.
