There are some things you as truck drivers can keep with you in the truck to help get going in the event of a minor break down. This can sometimes save you from sitting and waiting for a mechanic.
1 gallon of engine oil
1 gallon of coolant
Electrical tape
A few zip ties
A sandwich baggie (works great for a broken hub window, a missing oil fill cap or radiator cap.)
Small tool set (for adjusting brakes, tightening a coolant hose clamp, and a crescent wrench is always handy.)
