A quick reminder to all of our log truck drivers to please slow down when driving past houses, campgrounds, and other populated areas.
We have now received calls from two different people at two different jobs concerned about our trucks driving too fast past homes and campgrounds. When we’re hearing the same concern from different locations, we need to pay attention to it.
Please slow down in these areas, even if the posted speed limit allows you to go faster. Watch for people, kids, pets, vehicles pulling out, and dust. We are driving large, heavy trucks through areas where people live and recreate, and we need to be respectful of that.
Remember that people notice our trucks and our name. How you drive represents all of us.
Take the extra minute, slow down, and get through these areas safely and respectfully.
Thank you.
