A question that many drivers ask, “How much time do I have to show on my logs for a pre-trip inspection?” According to the regulations (green book) FMCSR 396.13 states,
“Before operating a commercial motor vehicle, the driver must inspect the vehicle and be satisfied that it is in safe operating condition.” This also includes load securement
If the vehicle is loaded.
