We talk about pretrip inspections all the time. I would like to mention the importance of inspecting suspension u-bolts. Some trucks are more suspect to breaking drive axle u-bolts, like the Peterbilts. A tap with a hammer on the u-bolt is a good way to indicate if a u-bolth is loose or broken.
