Don’t you think it would be unproductive and unprofessional to stop your truck and park it if only for a few minutes to BS with someone even if it in regarding work. There’s got to be a better way, right?
This is the same thing as walking in the shop and stopping a mechanic or two and BS-ing with them. It completely stops their production.
If you have an issue with your equipment, write it up. If you don’t think you can explain it good enough, write a simple version and ask them to call you. Leave a good number. This way they are not elbow deep in a project and can write down your problem so they can remember it.
The mechanics all have jobs to do as well.
