Who Are You, Really?

Ever wonder why you think the way you do? Or why some people just don’t see the world the same way?

There are a couple of personality tests out there that try to explain that. The most popular ones are:

  • MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) – This test places you into one of 16 personality types like ISTJ or ENFP based on how you think, interact, and make decisions.

  • Enneagram – This one breaks people down by core motivations, fears, and behavioral habits, resulting in nine main types.

Some people say these are just “fun quizzes,” and sure, they aren’t scientific gospel—but they can still be helpful. For example, I’m an ISTJ—someone who likes structure, facts, and responsibility. Sound familiar?

These tools can help you understand yourself and others better. That co-worker who seems too quiet? Maybe they’re just wired differently. That person who talks things out loud to think? That’s how they process.

They’re not about putting people in boxes—they’re about giving you better insight. And sometimes, a little insight goes a long way in helping teams work together or making relationships smoother.

Go try one. You might just learn something that makes life a bit easier—or at least more interesting.
