As we move into spring our customers will continue to get busier. For example, one of our customers has already doubled the number of deliveries around Southern Oregon, which is a great sign.
With the increased number of loads, comes an increase in Bills of Lading, delivery tickets and new locations drivers are going to… basically more responsibility on everyone’s part.
Bills of Lading must be signed, by the driver and the receiver. Unfortunately, this is may be one of the most difficult parts of our job… but it has to be done and done correctly. The delivery ticket must be filled out on everything we deliver. Please be vigilant when having the receiver sign your paperwork, check it one more time before leaving the delivery. We have customers that refuse to pay us for the service we perform if there is no signature on the bills.
