BOL and Hand Tickets

If you are not in a log truck, you are required to fill out a hand ticket with each load that you haul. Those tickets could be blue or white. No matter what book you are using, we need you to write down ALL BOL numbers onto your hand ticket. If you are making multiple deliveries for one shipment, you need to make separate hand tickets to document your BOL numbers and get receiver signatures. All load you haul need to have a completely filled out hand ticket. You can use the “description” portion of your hand ticket to document your BOL numbers if there is multiple. For the South Coast haul specifically, please document the “S.C.L.C. order number/numbers.

We also have an additional request for anyone doing the South Coast/Pacific Wood haul, do not pick up a load that is for another company. For example, if they are trying to load you with a Martin Trans load, that is not ours. Only haul our loads. If there is any issues, let your dispatcher know. Picking up a load that does not belong to FV messes up accounting for all companies involved. Pay attention to your BOL please. This actually goes for any load that you haul, pay attention to your paperwork.
