The majority of our accidents, either personal or equipment is caused by complacency. The employee gets to relaxed and comfortable. That’s when they forget the little things.
You all do a job with many things going on around you. Nobody wants to afford to let complacency set in. Stay on top of your game at all times. Save the relaxing for your time at home with your loved ones.
We pay insurance companies way too much money. Several hundreds of thousands of dollars each year. I would much rather give that to you all.
I like to set goals. Each quarter my goal is zero Workers Comp claims and zero truck accidents. Everyone needs to try to hit these goals to lower our cost.
