We’ve had a few recent situations involving equipment possibly being moved or removed, so let’s reset expectations and keep things running smoothly.
Company Equipment
All equipment in trucks is company property and should stay with the assigned unit unless directed otherwise.
If you need something for your truck:
- Do not take it from another truck
- Get with the shop and they will get you what you need
The shop keeps extra equipment on hand and can make sure everything is installed correctly and accounted for.
Personal Belongings
Drivers are also reminded:
- Personal items left in trucks are at your own risk
- While we do our best to maintain equipment and organization, trucks are shared and accessed by multiple people (shop, maintenance, etc.)
If something personal is left behind, we cannot guarantee it will remain there.
Bottom Line
- Don’t take equipment from other trucks
- Go through the shop for anything you need
- Keep personal items out of trucks
This keeps things simple, avoids confusion, and prevents unnecessary issues between drivers.
