With the Christmas and New Year holidays approaching, work will slow down. Most mills are not receiving logs between Christmas and January 3rd. So, most log trucks will not work that week.
The flatbed side will have a similar problem, especially the local drivers. Few mills will be receiving raw materials, but will still be shipping finished products. Again, we want to emphasize calling ahead to deliveries and pickups, due to minimal holiday hours.
Post-holiday shipping, receiving, and logging look to be very promising for 2017!
During this slower time, we ask you to keep in mind, while we may be slow or down, you are still on call. We may need your help to keep some customers happy. Please be prepared.
