Quick reminder for everyone, especially newer drivers, who may not know any better.
Please do not use your jake brakes on our road coming into the yard.
There’s no hill there that requires it, and we have houses nearby. The noise carries, and it’s something people notice and complain about. We want to be good neighbors and keep a good relationship with the folks around us.
When you’re coming in, just drive it down easy and use your regular brakes. There’s no reason to be on the jakes in that stretch.
This is one of those simple things that makes a difference. It keeps complaints down and shows respect for the area we operate in.
