We are still having issues with low weights. On jobs like Wildcat, the difference in a low weight and a correct weight could be over $100. This could make the difference between making money and losing money on the whole day.
If you are having trouble with your scales, write it up or speak to the shop. If that doesn’t work come see me.
It is better to crowd the limit and haul full loads and pay the occasional overload ticket then to run light all the time.
We don’t like overloads and I am not asking you to break the law. Just haul full loads.
