As you know, the company requires a thorough PRE and Post Trip inspection of your truck and trailer, regardless of what you are driving.
Granted, sometimes it is difficult to see certain concerns, such as a cracked wheel, when it’s dirty.
However, if an inspector can find it in a couple of minutes, we would expect that a driver could as well?
The following pictures show the cracks found in both steer wheels, at a DOT scale inspection. They also found the low air warning system not working. = Out of Service
